Your passwords filled in with a single click, on Chrome and Edge. Everything you store is encrypted on your computer before it leaves it — and the server it is stored on is yours.

Works on Chrome and Edge, version 116 or newer. On the phone, there is the HedHog Vaults app for Android and iPhone.

• Signs you in. Land on a login page and the field tells you which account you have saved for it. One click fills username and password.
• Saves what you just created. Signed up somewhere, or changed a password? The extension notices and offers to save it, asking first which vault it should go to.
• Invents better passwords than you do. On any signup form it generates a strong password on the spot — and stores it, so there is nothing to memorise.
• Hands you the two-step code. If the item has two-step verification, the six-digit code shows up already filled in. No second app to open, no race against the clock.
• Fills the whole signup form. Name, e-mail, phone and address come from an identity item in your vault and land in the right fields.
• Shares with your team. A vault can belong to the team: whoever joins sees the shared passwords, whoever leaves stops seeing them.

Step away and the vault locks itself — it also locks when your computer locks the screen.

The difference is not in the screens, it is in who can read what you stored.

• Encrypted before it leaves your device. The password is scrambled in your browser. What travels over the network and what sits in storage is ciphertext.
• The server is yours. HedHog Vaults has no central cloud. It connects to the HedHog installation you point it at — your company's, yours.
• Not even HCODE can read it. We do not hold your data, and even if we did we would not hold your key: it is derived from your master password, on your device, and is never sent anywhere.
• One destination, no middlemen. The extension talks to exactly one address: the server you configured. No telemetry, no tracking, no third parties in the loop.

1. Enter the address of your HedHog server. No address is baked in: the extension only knows who to talk to once you tell it.
2. Authorise access. You sign in on HedHog's own screen and grant the extension access. Your account password never passes through it.
3. Unlock the vault. Your master password (and, on first use, your recovery key) opens the content right there, in your browser.
